About African Girl Guide

African Girl Guide (AGG) is the African engagement and youth- development initiative of Paw Solution, a Chicago-based nonprofit organization known for its strong commitment to community empowerment.

For over eight years, Paw Solution has served the U.S. community through outreach programs, youth development support, emergency relief, and partnerships with government agencies such as the Cook County Sheriff's Department. The organization has received multiple awards including ABC7's Making Chicago Proud and News Nation's American Hero Award.

African Girl Guide was established as the African extension of this vision — to provide mentorship, education support, leadership training, and vocational development to underserved girls across Africa, ensuring they have the skills, opportunities, and support systems they need to thrive.

To empower the African Girl Child by providing structured mentorship, educational support, leadership development, vocational wellbeing programs, and access to life-changing opportunities that shape confident, self- sufficient, impactful women.

Our Vision

A continent where every girl — regardless of background, environment, or circumstance has access to education, dignity, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and the support needed to fulfill her potential and change her world.

Our Goals

Education Support:

Helping girls remain in school through financial assistance and essential support.

Mentorship:

Connecting students with role models who guide them academically, emotionally, and professionally.

Leadership Development:

Training young women to lead effectively in school, career, and community.

Digital & Career Skills:

Equipping girls with modern skills such as digital skills, entrepreneurship, knowledge, and workplace readiness.

Dignity Preservation:

Providing sanitary supplies, emotional support, safe guidance, and non-threatening resources.

The Moving Library Project:

Bringing mobile education, vocation, and emotional development programs to rural communities.

NYSC Support:

Offering mentorship, internship opportunities, field support, transportation assistance, groceries, and welfare resources for female corps members.

Community Impact:

Partnering with institutions, NGOs, and leaders to build environments where girls can thrive and inspire others.
